Student sign-out policies and procedures are in place to prevent classroom interruptions and to ensure that your student is in the office waiting for you on time.

 

If your child is going to leave school early, please send a note and have your child bring it to the Attendance Office in the morning to get a red pass.  The pass will excuse the student from his/her class at the specified time.  The teacher will send the student to the office to wait for you. 

 

Red passes can only be run the last five minutes of a class period to avoid unnecessary interruptions.  The latest sign-out time during seventh period is 3:15pm.

 

Students may only leave school grounds when they have parental permission and are checked out from the office.   Parents must sign out their student(s) in the office.   If someone other than a parent/guardian comes to sign out the student, a note from the parent will be required, verbal permission is not acceptable.  Photo identification is required from any person who picks up any student.
